4 Tips To Get Lots Of Tinder Dates With Hot Girls

I posted a video with some Tinder dating tips after going on 14 awesome dates in 10 days using Tinder.

A YouTuber commented on my video saying - “Wanna get lots of dates on Tinder, look like this guy. Wanna get no dates on Tinder, look like me!” …that comment made me laugh. It’s half true.

The number one rule of meeting good looking girls on Tinder is that you must be Attractive. The good news though is that virtually every guy can be attractive. So let’s look at what you can do to make yourself attractive on Tinder and in life. Why? …Because the more attractive a person you are, the better the options in your potential dating pool will be. Here are four ways to immediately make yourself more attractive.

#1 - Go to the gym and build a little muscle. You’ll feel better and more confident because exercise releases endorphins in your brain that make you feel good. And you’ll look good. Even guys that don’t have “beautiful” face will still look fairly attractive once they have a nice body. Add a charming personality to that body, and you’ll have more dates with cute girls than you even have time for.

#2 dress well. Girls appreciate clothes more than guys appreciate clothes. So girls will appreciate a guy that dresses himself well. I personally don’t keep up with fashion so I have my brother Mark choose most of my clothes. You don’t need many clothes. Two pairs of shoes, two pairs of pants, four shirts and a nice jacket will pretty much do the trick. Buy clothes that are modern, trendy, classic, and fit well. If you’re like me and not sure what to buy then I’ve asked my brother Mark who buys clothes for showrooms in NYC if he’d be willing to personal shop for you guys, and for $150 fee he’ll shop for three new outfits for you from the top designers in NYC His email is madimuzio@gmail.com …it’s worth the money. Remember it’s not about quantity. With even just two great classic outfits you can be set for years.

#3 - Great pictures. Even if you aren’t the best looking guy your pictures are a chance to show a little of who you are, and why you’re interesting. Your first pic should be a great & clear shot of your face. One pic should be a little bit funny or cute. One pic should show you doing something fun or adventurous outdoors. You get the idea. Spend some time on taking/picking great pics if you're going to spend time on Tinder. Otherwise you're just wasting time. Your first impression IS your pictures.

Here were three of my pics...

First should be a great & clear picture of your face. The green catches the eye when swiping.

Something funny to show personality or that you have a good body (but only in a casual way).

Something to show you like spending time outdoors or are adventurous.

#4 - Learn to be a good conversationalist. I’ve included links to a few great articles about what makes people feel like they’re having a great conversation. One of the most important is to ask great and specific questions. An example of a bad question is “What are you looking for on Tinder?”. It’s too general, and most people aren’t just looking for one thing. No matter what people answer they’ll feel as if that answer is being judged. A good question would be… “If you could have dinner with anyone living or dead who would it be?” …every girl I’ve asked that question has answered it. Fyi: my answer is Jesus.

In closing. What I’ve learned is that like attracts like. If you want to date a Chinese girl start learning Chinese. If you want to date an emotionally secure, attractive, and successful girl your chances of that happening go up significantly if you’re an emotionally secure, attractive, and successful guy. If you’re not sure how to become one find people that you admire and hang out with them as much as possible. It’s said you are the average of the three people you spend the most time around.

How To Have Awesome Tinder Dates: Advice To GIRLS from a guy who cares

I’ve been on lots of Tinder dates (with girls). Many of those girls I’ve ended up becoming friends with. This and the fact that I like to think of myself as a decent sort of person has led me to care about the girls I’ve gone out with, and notice that many of them go on a lot of unnecessarily shitty dates. At worst they end up having sex with guys they wish they hadn’t, or at “best” in very awkward dating situations feeling unsatisfied or misled.

Fortunately with just three changes to they way you deal with the guys you talk to all of this can be pretty easily avoided.

1. Using Tinder girls often end up on “awkward dates”. They texted with the guy and found him charming, but in person there’s just no chemistry. Solution to solving this problem: Have a quick Skype or Google chat (whatever video chat app you use) before you meet. This can save you a lot of time! Once you decide you might want to meet a guy (you can create a “fake account” if you feel the need to so as to not use your real identity) say to him “Hey, you seem cool. I’m up for tea/drink/coffee, but I always like to meet on “Skype” for a second before I go on a date with a stranger. I’m running out the door, but I’ve just got 5min. Here’s my Skype: username.” Then you both jump on Skype, after 5min you say you need to run. From there you can asses as to whether you actually want to go on a date with the guy. It will only have cost you 5min of your life from the comfort of your own home, and any guy who’s not willing to do this isn’t worth going on a date with anyway. Most guys will really appreciate and respect you for this. I know I would.

2. Girls end up getting somewhat “raped” …I say somewhat because it’s not totally against their will, but it’s with a lot of reluctance. Usually this happens because they either met at the guys place or because the guy came directly to theirs. Now if you just wanna f*ck (which maybe you decided you wanted after the Skype date) then that’s fine. But if you meet at a guys place or he comes directly to yours then to a guy you’ve made an unspoken agreement to have sex. And a guy WILL be disappointed or at least confused if you don’t want to in such a situation. So don’t EVER meet directly at a guys place or yours if your plan is not to have sex. Now you know.

3. The most common mis-matched (pun-intended) is that the girl and guy who meet have very different expectations or interest in what might become of their relationship. The girl wants a relationship, and the guy just wants to f*ck. Or maybe the girl is also game for a casual f*ck, but would rather have that be something that naturally and slowly progresses rather than happens on the first date. With one simple phrase you can weed out every “I just want to fuck you on the first date, leave you unsatisfied, and never see you again” guy you might otherwise be putting yourself in a compromising position with. Somewhere towards the beginning of a chat with a match say (just copy and past the following phrase) “fyi: I’m not a prude, but my policy is I don’t sleep with a guy until after I’m in monogamous committed relationship with them”. Every guy who’s not interested in a possible relationship will immediately move on at the sound of those words. Of course you can always sleep with the guy sooner if you want to, but it’ll drastically weed out all the “one night stand only” guys you might’ve otherwise gone on a date and wasted your time with. …Prepare to be “unmatched” a lot after using this line, haha.

If you have a question about any other situation or trouble you’ve been facing while “online dating” leave a comment below, and I’ll reply with my thoughts on the best solution for you.

5 Things I Wish I Knew In High School

5 Things I Wish I Knew In High School

1. Not one girl that I had a crush on when I was kid do I still find attractive. So don't worry whether the pretty girls like you or not until after high school because the girls who are gorgeous when they're young (high school) are usually at their peak. I’ve seen a few exceptions, but they’re rare. As a bonus 1.5 …hang out with “the smart kids and/or ambitious kids” …they usually make the best long-term friends.

2. Exercise, and eat healthy food. It will make you happier, more attractive, and give you tons of longterm and short-term health benefits.

3. When it comes to your career don't listen to your parents …listen to your heart. Your parents will want what is SAFEST for you, not what is best for you. I actually wish I’d never gone to any school beyond elementary. It’s the single biggest waste of time during the most valuable years of your life. Learn like crazy. Read books, find mentors, & learn skills. I will not suggest to my children that they go to school. I’m going to home school them and teach valuable wisdom and skills that excite them. People remember very little that doesn’t excite them or that they can’t immediately apply.

4. Learn as many languages as possible. The majority of what you learn in school will be useless the minute you leave school, but the language skills you acquire will transform your life. If that doesn't sound convincing enough then answer this …do you like Spanish boys, do you like Japanese girls? …etc. Well very few of those people can speak English, but if you speak their language they will suddenly appear on your dating food chain. Winning!

5. Become good at something artistic. You don't have to learn to be a great rock guitarist to impress girls or to find self-fulfillment, but having something like playing the harmonica, the beat box, painting, dancing or anything that you do well and can easily practice. It will make you both a more attractive and happier person.

Is your boyfriend inconsiderate?

Is your boyfriend inconsiderate? …Maybe he is, but before you judge for certain, read this…

I’ve been dating a girl recently and a of couple times in the past few weeks I’ve done things she thought were really inconsiderate. She told me that I wasn’t considering her feelings before I did these things; and that upset her. We had our first serious arguments.

What frustrated me about every one of the situations is that I really thought that I was considering her feelings. I consider myself a considerate guy, and I care a lot about her interests.  I thought she would react one way, but she reacted completely the opposite to how I expected. I tried to explain that I just got it wrong, but that only made her feel more like I didn’t understand her or consider her feelings in the first place.

Finally I came up with an analogy that made sense to both of us…

My mom often buys me gifts that I don’t like. She’ll buy me food that isn’t the type I usually eat. She buys me clothes that aren’t the style I wear. Sometimes she gets it right, but she often doesn’t. It used to make me feel almost physically sick when my mom would buy me gifts like this. How could someone who’s raised me all my life and who loves me so much get what I want so wrong?? Does she not love me? Is she just completely out of touch with who I am? Nope. My mom loves me more than her own life, and after spending eighteen years raising me she knows me pretty well.

Sometimes even the people who love and understand us the most just get it horribly wrong. It’s not that they don’t care about or understand us. When it comes to guys and girls we often just have different thoughts on what we enjoy, and what’s important. So even if you feel like you’ve explained yourself or your boyfriend should know better give him the benefit of the doubt. Don’t get mad. Just explain yourself again, maybe in a different way this time, and the future the percentage of how often he gets it right will go up. He’ll soon realize he has the most understanding and least reactive girlfriend on the planet, and that’s something the right guy will definitely appreciate.

What Makes A Girl Attractive To Guys - Four Things That Will Make You Formidably Sexy!

What Makes A Girl Attractive To Guys - Four Things That Will Make You Formidably Sexy!

Obviously I’m speaking from my own perspective, but since I have a lot of guy friends I can say that the vast majority of them feel the same way.

These qualities are what makes a girl attractive as a longterm girlfriend or wife. Not in what would make you attractive enough for a guy to what to have sex with you …that’s easy. Just tell a guy you wanna have sex with him directly, and if he’s single he’ll most likely say "yes!".

But when it comes to qualities that will really make you stand out to guys as “serious girlfriend material” these qualities (maybe surprisingly to some girls) top the list.

1. Be aesthetically low maintenance.

Things like the way your nails look, your designer bag, your trendy clothes, awesome make-up …etc. mean almost nothing to most guys. If anything those things are often a negative, because it says to guys “It’s a financial burden to date me”. Those things are complicated looking. Guys don’t like complicated. Every guy I know would appreciate it a hundred times more if a girl went to the gym and did squats and push-ups than if she bought a new outfit and got her nails done. Working out hard and lifting heavy weights demonstrates guts and drive. If you want guys to go crazy for you then be really physically fit. A firm butt and flat stomach beats great make-up and clothes every time. Like attracts like. If you want to be with a fit guy you should be fit yourself.

2. Exemplify a healthy lifestyle and be responsible.

Don’t drink or smoke. Again this is just a health aspect and when a guy is even remotely at the point of being ready to commit to a girl then evolutionary psychology says he’s thinking about the type of girl that would make a good mother. Girls that smoke, drink, don’t eat healthy, and don’t take care of their own bodies don’t give the appearance that they would do a good job of taking care of children either. Show that you’d be a great and responsible mom. That’s so sexy!

3. Be confident.

I went out with a really good looking FHM model on a couple dates. The second date she asked me multiple times, “Do you think I’m pretty?” “Do you like me?”, and a lot of other very unconfident sounding questions. Nothing drives a guy more crazy than a girl getting upset every time he glances at another attractive girl or he likes some other girls picture on Instagram. Demonstrate that you’re confident and that you know that you’re the best option by not caring about petty things like that. When a guy doesn’t feel that you “need” him and that you’d be just fine without him he will hold onto you for dear life. There’s also no need to constantly post pictures of every gift he gives you or romantic situation you all share together on Facebook. Doing that doesn’t exude confidence, and it seems way too needy a clingy.

4. Increase the power and capacity of your brain.

Read books and constantly look out for way to increase the amount of knowledge, skills, and wisdom contained in your head. When I see a girl reading a book (especially if it’s on a subject I’m interested in as well) my “this is a girl I want to get to know better button” starts flashing red and a siren goes off in my heart. Smart is sexy!

So to sum up….

1. Be aesthetically low maintenance.
2. Exemplify a healthy lifestyle.
3. Be confident in yourself (and with the idea of being by yourself).
4. Increase the power and capacity of your brain.

These four things that will make you formidably sexy partner to virtually every potential guy you’d actually want to date.

Dear Artists, don't be afraid of imitation...

When I first started singing & writing songs I tried to be Jon Bon Jovi. Literally I would've been perfectly happy sounding just like Bon Jovi. They were/are my favorite band, and I wanted to make music that felt just like their greatest hits do.

My favorite singer/songwriter Billy Joel admits in many interviews that every song he's ever written is him purposely trying to copy someone or something else. I've always remembered that, and I sort of set out to do the same thing. I now realize that's one of the smartest things I've ever done artistically.

Every artist is in some way "copying" or "imitating" other artists. The art we've seen and heard is what influences us, and there's no way to escape that. Even the most unique artists have things in their art that are reminiscent of other artists.

I think the problem comes when a young artist thinks that they are completely "original", and that the music they make won't sound like anyone else. This is the most immature stance/statement an artist can take, and it basically just means that they have no real grasp over the art they're making, or the skills it requires to produce that art.

The reason I think that my actually trying to copy other artists has been good for me is that "I'm not those artists". I don't have the same set of vocal chords as Jon Bon Jovi, and I don't have the same size fingers as John Mayer (the second artist I spent a lot of time trying to copy). Trying incredibly hard to copy these artists, and FAILING is what's made me sound like me. It's actually that failure that makes us sound like us, but first we must get as close as possible to mastering the skills of our idols in order to realize who WE truly are.

John Mayer wanted to play guitar exactly like Stevie Ray Vaughn. He admits that. But he also admits that he's no Stevie Ray Vaughn. They aren't the same person, and he can never sound exactly like his idol.

So don't be afraid of imitating. Don't be afraid of copying. Learn from the best. Try to be exactly like the best. And once you fail you will find out who it is you really are. Maybe in your failure you will even find that in some way you are "better" than what it is you're copying.

Maturity, and the beauty in "selling out"

Tonight I've been thinking about "giving people what they want". It's in many ways the opposite of what I've always done. I've always considered myself a rebel; mostly because I've had to be in order to achieve my goals. Lately though with a growing fan base that actually "wants" something from me my rebellious side has been saying to me "David, don't give them what they want …give them just the opposite and try prove to them that they'll still like it", haha. My last cover was a version of the song "Sex And Candy" by Marcy Playground, and though I'm sure a few of my fans love that grungy strange pop song just as much as me I'm also pretty sure most of them would much rather hear me sing (for instance) the classic ballad "I'll Be" by Edwin McCain.

Tonight's epiphany for me is that maybe "selling out" …also sometimes known as "giving people what they want" (instead of the mindset of "giving people whatever you want to give them") is actually the much more mature (in a good way) way of doing things.

I would never suggest that someone commit long term to doing something they hate in order to satisfy others, but I've realized that the dilemma I'm now facing is not that at all. You my fans/audience actually love MOST of the same things that I do, but as a complicated person with diverse taste in music you probably won't like all the same music that I do, and that's fine.

So a compromise must be made for the better good of the "brand" …and that's not a bad thing at all. It means both me and my audience/you are happier. I get to do more of what I love (which is sing beautiful melodic songs that are often about love or family), and you will be more satisfied and willing to support me knowing that I represent something that's also very important in your life as well, which is those themes of love, heartache, family, and the songs that best represent them for both of us.

Today I'm uploading a cover of "Danny's Song" by Kenny Loggins …it's exactly one of those songs about love and family that I'm sure we both love :)

Random after show musings...

I've never done any kind of drug, but I completely understand why many entertainers start. I just finished a show for about a thousand people tonight. It rocked!!! When you have a great show and the audience is really going crazy for you there's such an intense amount of love/adrenaline/energy …and even right after the show when people are lining up to say hi, shake your hand, get an autograph, buy a CD …etc. The whole process is sort of surreal. I used to try and act normal when all of that was happening …and sometimes I still do, but oddly enough the more "normal" I try to act the more weird it all feels because it's not normal really. So when I just let go and accept it strangely it all starts to feel slightly more normal. …Then the show ends and the people leave.  …I'm sure it's the "after the show" feeling that makes many entertainers start do drugs. They want the feeling to continue. Sometimes I do to. Suddenly all the love/adrenaline …etc. seems to just disappear. It hasn't disappeared, but it has dissipated for a while. I'm lucky I guess that my dad's substance abuse throughout my childhood completely scared me into never touching any substance that would alter the way I felt. Well, writing this blog has been a good way to come off the "high" for me tonight. Now I'm gonna watch my favorite TV show Dexter and fall asleep :)

NEW ALBUM: Introduction

I've announced that I'll be putting out a new album on Star Records next year, but I haven't given any details about it yet. Well, here are a couple… :)

Most of you have probably heard the "I'm By Your Side" English version of "Hawak Kamay" that I wrote the lyrics to. Star Records heard it as well, and they loved it! They like it because it maybe for the first time gives a new voice to a now modern Tagalog/OPM classic, and even people who don't speak a word of Tagalog or aren't necessarily Filipino can now enjoy a "Filipino Song", and the melody and message of a great Filipino/Tagalog songwriter (Yeng). I'm also very proud of the song for the same reason.

I have to commend Star for their forward thinking regarding this concept, and for seeing the potential to bring Filipino music into the international mainstream, the same way K-pop has managed to do so with their music and videos. My goal over the past two years has been to break traditions within OPM and yet at the same time incorporate the languages and the feelings of Filipino music into my own music and collaborations. With this project I think we have a better chance than ever to do that.

So if you haven't guessed it by now my upcoming album on Star Records will be an "English Versions" album. I'm going to take my favorite classic Tagalog songs (songs that almost every Filipino knows by heart), and give them a complete makeover both lyrically (in English) and production wise (so that they feel progressive and modern). I hope at the same time to do justice to the original meaning & feeling of the songs, and I will use every bit of heart and talent within me to do so.

My goal for this album is that a young Filipino-American or Filipino-Canadian …etc. can drive in their car with their American friends and to proudly play an album of classic "Filipino Songs" yet every person in the car will be able to instantly enjoy the songs and start singing along. Or for an overseas Filipino mom to be able to share this album with her children that are growing up in a foreign country, and hearing these songs will encourage and get them excited about hearing the original versions in Tagalog and exploring their Filipino roots in a deeper way.

I thank you all for giving me this amazing opportunity to re-interpret classic songs that means so much to so many Filipinos, and I hope you're just as excited to hear these re-interpreted versions as I am to write them.

Love,

David

If I can sing you can sing...

When I was around 15 years old I decided that I wanted to sing. My goal up to that point had always been that I just wanted to be a songwriter. I'd had no intention of singing my own songs. I wanted to find "singers" to sing them. Like most things though I realized that if you want it done you have to do it yourself…

My mom heard me start to sing around the house, and she told me point blank "you have no chance of ever being a singer". Looking back I don't blame her much …I was HORRIBLE. My tone wasn't pretty, my notes were off pitch. There wasn't much of a starting point to encourage me from. Never the less I sang all the time.

Over about 6 years I became a little better; at least up to the point where some people might find my voice charming, but looking back I wasn't good enough that I really deserved to be singing for large audiences, and for that reason I rarely got to.

When I was 21 I moved to Nashville and decided I wanted to record my first album. Not because I wanted to showcase my singing, but because I was really proud of my original songs (which I do think were very good). A friend suggested I get a vocal coach …that moment CHANGED MY LIFE. I was lucky enough to find a very good vocal coach named Jamie Wigginton, and I suddenly realized two things: One, that almost everything about the way I had been singing up to that point was wrong, and two (and most importantly) that by practicing CORRECTLY I could dramatically improve. I practiced at least an hour a day five days a week that year while I made my first album, and I never would've been able to actually sing that material on the album if it wasn't for the coaching Jamie had given me.

Even though I improved a lot with Jamie's help I was still coming basically from zero talent, and though I thought that someday I could be a good singer I never really thought I had the ability to be a great singer …like my idols Jon Bon Jovi, Richard Marx, and Darren Hayes.

Here I am six years later. I've continued to practice almost daily doing vocal excercises in hopes to continue improving my voice and every 6 months or so I seem to have a "vocal breakthrough" moment when I find a new place in my voice that I didn't know existed before. A couple weeks ago I had one of those moments. The biggest one that's come in a long time. I was doing a audio vocal lesson by another popular vocal coach Brett Manning, and I finally found "my mix voice" which when developed is what allows male singer to hit that belting high notes ala "Journey". For the first time I  now have hope that with enough further practice I can a truly "great singer" (like my idols) as well as a great songwriter. I've been so excited ever since, and I hope that God allows me the good health to reach my personal goals in singing.

I'm writing this though for all the people who just like me love to sing, but maybe if you're willing to admit it to yourself you're not yet a GREAT singer. Singing isn't JUST something that you're born with and either able to do well or not …it's something that IF you're willing to find a great coach, and practice thousands and thousands of hours doing seemingly meaningless exercises to strengthen your voice and find the correct coordination of your vocal chords YOU can be great at! We often think "I can't sing" or "I can sing", but singing isn't just a can or can't skill …it's something that takes practice just like basketball, guitar, ping pong, open heart surgery or any other skill. I'm here to admit that I'm not naturally a very good singer. I'm "naturally" a very awful singer. The way that I sing today is the culmination of thousands of hours of learning & practice. The skills you possess aren't the ones that you were born with, but the ones that you choose to learn …even with singing ;)
